How to upload your documents to Haven Energy
You can upload documents anytime at havenenergy.com/documents. Below are simple steps and everything you need to know to get a sign-in link and successfully upload your files.
Quick steps

Open your browser and go to havenenergy.com/documents. This page is where customers can securely upload utility bills, tax forms, photos, and other documents we need to process your project.

Enter the email address you want to use (this should be the email that’s associated with your Haven contact or the email you received messages at).

Click the button to send a sign-in link / verification email. The site will send a one-time sign-in link to that email so we can verify you before you upload.

Open your email and look for a message from no-reply@havenenergy.com (it will include the Haven logo). Click the sign-in link in that email to return to the document upload page. If the link has expired, you’ll be asked to enter your email again to get a new link.
What to upload and file rules

Recommended / typical documents: utility bills (12 months of usage), proof of income (1040 for rebates/SGIP), roof & site photos, permit/contract documents. Many of our program-specific emails also ask for these items ahead of appointments.

File types: the site accepts PDF and image file types (photos). For some programs (for example SGIP), our reviewers request PDF format only—so when in doubt, upload a clear PDF.
- File size & limits: each uploaded file is limited to 10 MB. The website also allows up to 50 files per email address. Files larger than the max will be rejected with an error.
After you sign in

Once you click the sign-in link you’ll be taken to the upload interface where you can add files, see the file names you’ve uploaded, and delete any file if needed. You will not be able to view the internal contents of previously-uploaded files from your browser (only file names). Uploaded documents are associated with your Haven account/deal so our team can access them for processing
Troubleshooting & tips

Can’t find the sign-in email? Check your Spam/Junk folder for mail from no-reply@havenenergy.com. If you still don’t see it, try the upload page again and re-enter your email to request a fresh sign-in link.

Link expired — if you click a link after it expires you’ll be sent back to the login page and asked to request a new link.

Upload errors / “Next” button grayed out — that can happen if a file upload failed (for example because it’s too large or the wrong type). Try re-saving the document as a PDF or compressing images so each file is under 10 MB, then retry.

Program-specific note (SGIP): if you’re uploading for SGIP, reviewers often require PDFs and clear (non-pixelated) documents—graphs alone may not be accepted. For usage data they may request a CSV or individual monthly statements—follow any instructions in program emails.
