How long does an installation take?

The installation of solar panels typically takes 1 to 3 days, depending on the size and complexity of the system. Your battery installation will take several hours. In most cases, the installation can be completed in less than a day. Learn more about the installation process

Once you're approved for an SGIP rebate, we can start your installation process (even before funds have been issued). Here's an overview on the SGIP application process.

Can I start using my battery as soon as it's installed?

No. First, your system will need to be inspected by the city to ensure that it meets code. If it's good to go, the city will issue a "permission to operate" or PTO. This is green light number one.
